Massachusetts Wedding

Simplicity at it's best. With the amount of favors, decorations, and themed-wedding ideas circulating a couple can be overwhelmed by options for their wedding. When all else fails (or is out of your budget's reach) remember one phrase: "Keep it Simple." The decor for this Massachusetts wedding did not overwhelm or understate. The bride chose navy blue (also subtle blues that complimented) and white. For their table names the couple chose meaningful locations around NYC.

Brooklyn Jazz Age Party

Talk about your timeless party! I had great fun organizing a birthday party that embodied a period of rebellion, expression and liberation. It's fun and easy to pull off your own Jazz Age/Roaring 20s party. It all begins with the right location. Finding the best place that matches your theme cuts down decoration duty by 70%. A great find is the Firehouse Space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This recently restored firehouse gave the event a unique speakeasy feel, with exposed brick, high ceilings and beautiful patio-perfect for summer nights! Your guest make up a good portion of the ambiance, so make sure they dress to impress.

A few friends of ours: Fill the room with Jazz pioneers

Great conversation starters: A list of 20s and 30s slang
Great Conversation starters: List a few facts about the couple or whomever the celebration is for. My favorite from this party "She donned a fly perm in the 80s."

Great DJ! DJ Des One, very reliable and didn't need much direction. Book him!

What's a Speakeasy with some gin? This party girl passed out her own "Oh Lawdy!" brand.
